Pocono Medical Center is a 217-bed voluntary nonprofit, short term acute care hospital and is part of the Lehigh Valley Health Network.
Case Assignments:
Cases include, but are not limited to, endo, general surgery and ortho.
The practice model at this location is a care team model.

Schedules Include:
Various shifts available
In house call every 6th night, beeper call every 14th night.
Compensation Details:
Base Salary: $220K
Sign on bonus: $50K
Loan Repayment or Training Assistance Program options available.
Incentive Pay: $125 per hour for hours worked over 80 hours in a pay period
Call Pay: $250 weekday and $500 weekend
PTO: 0-5 yrs. 240 hrs. 5+ yrs. 280 hrs.

Responsibilities
Pre-anesthesia assessment
Obtains and/or verifies patient consent
Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
Induction, maintenance and emergence from anesthesia
Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition
Performance of clinical intervention as needed
Requirements
Current license as a registered professional nurse
Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education
Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
